Bruno Leti is a painter, filmmaker, printmaker, photographer and publisher. His practice is marked by elegant abstraction – musical arrangements in a restrained palette that recall abstract expressionism.

‘Scaffold for Memories II’ is a multi-layered work. Printed in three colour from three plates and hand coloured, this rhythmic, elegant work was published by Australian Print Workshop’s Senior Printer, Martin King with the artist. In the overlaying, translucent shapes Leti allows the viewer to find their own memory, their unique scaffold of meaning.

Leti is a prestigious artist. He is represented at the National Gallery of Australia and the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC, among others. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in New York, a State Library of Victoria Fellowship and residencies across the world.
