'Artist and Muse with Kangaroo' is an iconic example of Garry Shead's style and subject. During the 1980s Shead's style crystallized with his D. H. Lawrence series focusing particularly on Lawrence's novel 'Kangaroo'. In this drawing Shead's muse sits by patiently on the veranda.
